I love cartoons! I can't help it. I feel like my world isn't quite right when I don't have any cartoons...... Yes, I am a little eccentric. The one I am really looking forward to seeing is the Pixar film 'Up'. It's 3D, which always gets me interested, and it looks like a unique storyline...
With movies these days that's pretty rare. Everything has been done so they just keep doing the same storyline over and over again with slightly different characters and sometimes not even that! They keep taking movies that have already been done and re-do them to 'make them better'. Occasionally it works, but not always.
But that's what's so great with cartoons... The only thing stopping them is there imagination whereas movies can only be done as far as technology will take them. It's getting pretty good but they still have a glass ceiling.
Anyway, 'Up' comes out this friday in theaters and I am looking forward to seeing it.

- I am a 30 year old that got hooked onto cartoons at an early age because of my dad. He used to watch all the old cartoons like the Warner Brothers 'Bugs Bunny' and all the Disney originals. It was a tradition to watch the Sunday Disney cartoons while eating dinner in the living room. This was one of the few things that brought joy to his life and one of my fond memories of him. Watching cartoons makes me feel closer to him and my family and brings back many good memories.
I'm actually looking forward to see Up to, it does look interesting. Sometimes I get bored of the CGI cartoons though, I still miss the original Transformers cartoons...oh the memories. Transformers the Movie, that was luanched in the 80's is still good to watch now.
